Stunning Shipping Container Hotel Opens In The California Desert

The Southern California desert is about to get much more luxurious with the Spring opening of a brilliant new shipping container hotel called Reset. The hotel, situated on 180 acres in Twentynine Palms, is nestled just outside of Joshua Tree National Park and was created and co-founded by Adam Wininger and Designer, Ben Uyeda

The expansive property has 65 guest rooms designed into modern minimalist spaces. Each 520-sf standard room and 800-sf suite will feature a private deck with a fire pit and a cozy lounge area with a stargazing platform, and 15 of the rooms will feature an outdoor soaking tub.

What makes the hotel unique is its proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. Only a two-hour drive from Los Angeles, guests can take a short 5-minute drive to the North Entrance into Joshua Tree National Park. Reset Hotel is also the first full-amenities hotel to have been built from the ground up in the area in over 15 years.
