Minneapolis, Minnesota (August 14, 2026) – PACE Loan Group (PLG) announced today that it has selected veteran finance leader Kenneth Sacco to be the company’s chief financial officer. Sacco brings more than 25 years of strategic finance leadership to his new role and will be responsible for the company’s accounting, finance, treasury, and capital markets functions. He will report to PLG Chief Executive Officer Rafi Golberstein.

"We were looking for a strategic finance leader who could help guide PLG through this next stage of growth," Golberstein said. "Ken brings a rare skill set to this seat: real institutional capital markets experience paired with deep commercial real estate expertise. As PLG scales, that combination is exactly what we need to build out our finance and capital markets function."

Sacco began his career as a management consultant in the real estate advisory practices of Ernst & Young and KPMG. He then moved into investment banking, working with Lehman Brothers in New York and Barclays Capital in London. He went on to serve as a managing director at CBRE and JLL, where he led financial advisory practices. Most recently, he held senior corporate finance and treasury roles at Netflix and Life Time.

Over his career, Sacco has advised on more than $10 billion of commercial real estate transactions, including leases, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across a wide range of property types in the U.S. and internationally. In capital markets, he has executed over $30 billion of debt and $5 billion of equity raises.

“C-PACE brings together my background in complex financial structuring and my passion for commercial real estate,” said Sacco. “PLG is entering the current phase of industry growth from a position of strength, with a fully in-house operating model and the backing of AB CarVal as differentiators few C-PACE lenders can match. I’m excited to get to work strengthening that foundation as PLG scales.”

Sacco earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and holds the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation from CoreNet Global. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as part of an infantry weapons company.

PLG continues to expand its team across the country with offices in Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; and San Diego, CA in addition to its corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. PLG lends wherever there’s an active C-PACE program, which includes nearly 40 states and the District of Columbia.
