CRE Veteran Kathy Boop joins PLG in Dallas

Minneapolis, Minnesota (December 8, 2025) – PACE Loan Group (PLG) hired 20-year commercial real estate veteran Kathy Boop as vice president of originations in the company’s Dallas, Texas office. She joins senior vice president of originations Matt Mitchell in Dallas, and nine other originators across the U.S.

“Boop brings an impressive depth of knowledge on the entire loan process, having experience in development, general contracting, title work, and property management,” said Peter Grabell, managing director and head of production, PLG. “I’m excited to see her leverage her expertise in Texas and beyond as we continue to expand our national lending footprint.”

PLG’s ten originators are based in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, New York, San Diego, and San Francisco.

Boop joins PLG from Texas Regional Bank, where she focused on developing new commercial real estate relationships and sourced over $430 million in loan opportunities. Before Texas Regional Bank, she worked in project management at several firms including CBRE and Grubb and Ellis, as well as in business development.

PLG operates from the Minneapolis headquarters, Grand Rapids, Minn., and seven other locations. The company added 10 roles in 2025, bringing the number of employees to 32.
