76 Minnesota companies make Inc. 5000 list, with 7 achieving over 1,000% growth

Inc. magazine’s has released its annual list ranking the 5,000 fastest-growing businesses in the U.S., and 76 Minnesota companies made the cut for 2025. 

This year continues a slow decline in Minnesota’s presence on the list — there were 80 named companies in 2024 and 81 in 2023. This year’s honorees have amassed over $3.5 billion in total revenue, have a median growth rate of 196%, and employ over 15,000 workers, according to Inc. data. Six of the 2025 companies on the list are newly founded. The full list can be found here

The biggest industries represented by Minnesota companies this year are advertising, marketing and public relations (15), business products and services (12), construction (five), financial services (six), food and beverage (five), and software (five).

Seven Minnesota companies grew their revenues by more than 1,000% (up from three companies in 2024) over the past three years:

 

  • Toom, a food manufacturer known for its garlic dips, is based in Mendota Heights and has grown over 6,000% in the past three years. Coming in at No. 38, the company was founded in 2011.  
  • Bold North Roofing and Contracting, a roofing contractor founded in 2021, grew 4,607% in the past three years. The Bloomington-based company ranked at No. 62.
  • Webber Arrendondo Oja, a Plymouth-based law firm, grew 1,539%. The company was ranked at No. 253 and was founded in 2021.
  • Seven Sundays, a food company that creates "upcycled cereal" using regenerative ingredients, grew 1,337%. Ranked at No. 282, the Bloomington-based company was founded in 2011. CEO and founder Hannah Barnstable was a 2016 Women in Business honoree with the Business Journal
  • VivaQuant, a cardiac monitoring services company, is based in Arden Hills and grew by 1,197% in the past three years. Founded in 2018, the company ranked No. 331 and has been on the list twice before, at No. 231 in 2024 and No. 888 in 2023. The company was also a Business Journal Fast 50 honoree, ranking at No. 2, in 2024
  • Medication management company Lotus Pharmacy ranked No. 332 and grew by 1,194% in the past three years. The Arden Hills-based medical company was founded in 2019. CEO and founder of Lotus Pharmacy, Jill Lytwyn, was a Business Journal Women in Business honoree earlier this year. 
  • The Gillman Immigration Law Firm ranked No. 354 and grew 1,119% over the past three years. The law firm was founded In 2016 and is based in Apple Valley.
