What did you decide to go into finance/real estate:

Honestly, it started pretty simply — I took Real Estate 101 and Commercial RE Finance and Investment at USD, and something just clicked. I know it sounds cliché, but real estate is one of the few industries where you watch something go from completely intangible — a spreadsheet, a pro forma, a concept — to something physically standing in front of you. There's something genuinely cool about knowing all the work, the numbers, the structure that went into a deal, and then being able to look at a building that'll be there for years to come. That never really gets old for me.

 

Also, if you know me, I'm all for making friends and creating connections, and CRE is all about building relationships. Win win.

 

What drew you to C-PACE to PLG?

I actually came across C-PACE by chance at my last firm. It's such an innovative product, and honestly, I think we're still in the early innings. The use cases keep expanding, and you can see it in the numbers — the growth year over year speaks for itself. People in the industry are starting to really grasp its power, and that's exciting to be a part of.

 

As for PLG — it's the people, full stop. It's this genuinely smart, quirky, down-to-earth group, and that combination is rarer than you'd think. One of my favorite things is when clients say something like "you can just tell that you all actually like working together" — and I'm like, yes, exactly, because we do. That kind of culture doesn't happen by accident, and it makes a real difference in how we show up for clients.

 

What's your favorite place to travel?

Anywhere with a beach and a surf break w warm water!

 

What was your dream job when you were a kid?

An actress (LOL)

 

If you were to act in a movie, what genre would it be?

Rom-com...

 

What's one piece of advice you'd give your younger self?

Stop stressing over your 99/100. You're fine.

What's something you're good at/enjoy doing outside of work?

Surfing

 

What was your best Halloween costume?

A rat (but like Remy from Ratatouille). Yes, there was a chef too, that would've been weird without one.

 

What's your favorite outdoor activity?

Outside of surfing, I love going on beach walks. Favorite thing to do.
