How Traverse City's skyline changed every 15 minutes this week

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) - If you've traveled down State Street in Traverse City this week, you may have very likely noticed a dramatic change.

In the past five days a massive addition seemed to pop up out of nowhere.

"This is our largest project to date, it's almost 80,000 square foot," said Michael Sherman of C4C & Companies.

In a matter of a work week, a foundation turned into drastically more.

It will soon become more than 80 residential units with retail down below, all in a week's time.

"One of the main benefits of the speed is that we only disrupt the area of the community for a week," explained Sherman. "A project like this, if it was stick framed on site, would take probably up to two years of impact to a community."
